We have a new system for informing you of your test results.

You need to choose one of the two options below:

If you have a mobile telephone you can choose to have a text message sent to your telephone with your results. If you wish to choose this option you will need to complete a consent form.

Alternatively you can telephone the surgery after 10am Monday to Friday and speak to the receptionist.

If you do choose the text message service, it is your responsibility to inform us if you change your mobile telephone number


One blood test may result in several results coming back from the lab, sometimes several days apart. We try to only send one text per patient but you may sometimes receive more than one text after a test and may find that one needs action and one does not. We appreciate that this can sometimes lead to confusion but it is unavoidable when multiple blood tests are being done.
