Dr A J Moulson (f)
Senior GP Partner MB ChB 1983 University of Liverpool, DRCOG, Dip GPwSI in Mental Health  I qualified as a doctor in 1983 at Liverpool University and completed my GP training in Bradford finishing in 1987. I started at the practice in 1988, and am the lead partner for attending external meetings and leads on QOF/DES and prescribing. Alongside being a partner at Tong MP I am Vice Chair of Health Lifestyle, A GPwSi in the local community mental health team one morning a week, As well as being the clinical lead specialist for the Bradford District and City CCGs in Mental Health assisting in the planning of services. Special Interests: Mental Health Plesae note Dr Moulson has reduced her surgery time and will be in surgery Tuesday afternoon and Thursday mornings only. |

GP Partner MB BS 1996 University of Karachi, PgDip in Gastroenterology I have been a partner at Tong Medical practice since 2009, I graduated from Dow University of Health Sciences , Karachi, Pakistan in 1996. My special interest is in Gastroenterology. I provide enhanced services to patients with musculoskeletal disorders, administer joint and soft tissue injections and provide blue badge medical assessment to patients referred to us by Bradford District Council. I have a passion for providing quality and care to patients and aim to be the best service provider in Bradford. In my spare time I enjoy photography, cricket, reading and spending time with my family. Special Interests: Gastroenterology & MSK |

Locum GP's and Advanced Nurse Practitioners
We have a number of Locum GP's working at the Practice as we are finding it difficult to recruit permanent GP's. We have two long term very experienced Locum GP's working at the Practice Dr F Housari Dr A Mamaniat We also are delighted to have Nigel Wild our very experienced Nurse Practitioner returning on a permanent basis to the practice on Monday 11th November 2019. He will be working full time. |

Practice Management

Perdy Gill - Business Manager Perdy is responsible for the business and strategic aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide high quality patient care, HR finance, patient safety, premises and equipment. Perdy supports the GPs and other medical professionals in delivering services and also helps to improve services to enhance patient care. |
Administration

Judith Patten - Patient Liaison Officer Judith is part of the Clinical Administration Team, she answers the telephone, books appointments and co-ordinates home visit requests alongside ensuring the notice boards and leaflets are relevant and up to date, she also handles solicitors and private work requests. She is the lead contact person for Patient Forum Groups and Health Champions 
Andrea Harland - Choose & Book Administrator Andrea is part of the Data Management Team, she provides general secretarial support to the practice clinical teams, managing patient referrals and coordinating the Choose & Book service. 
Olivia Rhodes - Summariser/Choose & Book Assistant Olivia is part of the Data Management Team, she summarises and read-codes patient medical notes onto our clinical system. Alongside this Olivia also assists in the practice Choose & Book department. |
Reception

Carole Dunsire - Reception Team Leader Aisha Shobia - Senior Receptionist Receptionists - Claire,Lynda, Rachel,Katrina, Lisa , Shabnam ( awaiting picture) Our Reception Team provide an important link for patients and the practice, they are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide information on services and results as well as directing you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Our receptionists are highly skilled and perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions, dealing with prescription enquiries and dealing with patient medical records. Most of our receptionists hold a National Qualification in Customer Service. |
Pharmacists
Lal Shah - Practice Pharmacist Our practice pharmacist supports our clinical team with issues regarding medication. At times our patients may be asked to discuss changes in their medication with our pharmacist at the request of a GP or Nurse Practitioner. This is to ensure patients are fully aware of the actions and benefits of the medication they are being asked to take. This may also occur if a consultant has requested a change to patient medication.

Community Midwives
The community midwifery team provide a degree of continuity of care. In pregnancy they see you either at home or at a clinic. When you go into labour they are available for a home birth, or in a few places, they may come into the labour ward in the hospital to be with you. Once your baby is born, they’ll visit you at home for up to ten days after birth. Community midwives also provide postnatal care for women who have been looked after during labour by hospital midwives.

Community Nurses
District Nursing Team
The District Nursing team hold daily clinics at Highfield Health Centre to enable mobile patients to attend. The nurses visit housebound patients who are elderly, physically disabled or terminally ill to provide support to them and their families. Patients are offered health promotion information with regards to incontinence, weight problems/diet and smoking. Health Visitors
The Health Visitors Services Include: Antenatal, A visit for Mum and baby between 10 and 14 days after the baby is born, Six weeks assessment, also to offer Mum maternal mental health support, 3-4 month support visit for Mum and baby, 6-12 months development assessment for baby, 2 years review, Preschool review for the child, Support for parents with child development and child well being.
A well child health clinic is held on Thursday 9.30-11am by appointment only. Please bring your child’s red book. Healthy Start Vitamins are available for collection. Please be aware that we are a Teaching organisation and as such may have Student Nurses/Health Visitors with us when we visit at home or in clinic. If you do not wish to have students present at your appointment then please contact us in advance.
